1- Resident Engineer- Aviation: 1 Position: Sites:
The candidate shall have experience with airports construction and aviation airside design, management and development including runways, aprons, taxiways, geometric pavements, airfield lighting, navigational aids, fueling systems, utility plans and hangars. Landslide experience in parking or road projects will be helpful and drainage design. Requirements, familiarity with FAA design criteria, experience working in the field during aviation construction projects. This position would be in charge of super-projects for a major airport under construction. The candidate shall possess the capability to put requirements, review proposal, and advice for improvement. Demonstrable management experience is highly required.
Qualifications: BSc or higher degree in Civil Engineer or relevant degree with minimum relevant experience of 7 years. P6, AutoCAD experience is highly required and familiarity with all office package softwares.
Consideration will be made for:
1. Preparation of plans, technical specifications, and project cost estimates for airport development projects
2. Coordination with permitting agencies, project review, business development activities such as RFQ responses, Consultants, Contractors negotiations and presentations, industry involvement
3. Working with different project teams and organizations.
4. Working with Supervisory departments and agencies in the preparation of plans and specifications of airport development project.
5. Experience managing, developing, and supervising engineering staff and sub-projects.
2- Resident Engineer-Highways: 1 Positions- Sites
BSc in Civil Engineering. With experience in Roads and highways design and construction including hydrology, hydraulics and stormwater management.
Familiar with contracts document and interpretations, specification writing, quality control implementation and audits, scheduling with P3, report writing, change order procedures, estimating, tracking quantities, cost control, QA/QC and test frequency and procedure. Applicant should be very familiar with AutoCAD, P6, Office Packages: word, excel, power-point..Etc.
Overall duties of Resident Engineer
- Project Management Experience.
- Project documentation and close-out requirements.
- Interaction with contractors, consultants including negotiating change orders, plan changes, and claims.
- AutoCAD, P6 and office package softwares, specially excel.
- Waterborne construction techniques.
- Material testing and sampling requirements applicable to bridges and highway construction.
- QA/QC for both design and construction.
- Quantity take-off and change orders procedures.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken.
- Specification Writing Knowledge
- Familiar with specifications relevant to Highways and Bridges.
Qualifications: Candidate shall have at least 12 years of progressive construction engineering and inspection experience with at least 7 years of relevant experience and all project management software. Minimum qualification is BSc in Civil Engineering or Highways or higher. Relevant certificate is accepted. MSc is preferred.
3- Resident Engineer- Bridges: 1 Positions- Sites:
Candidate should have experience with the construction engineering; design and inspection of simple, long and continuous span concrete girder bridges, straight and curved alignments. Specific relevant experience with cast-in-situ segmental box girders with span length of at least 60 Meters.. Candidate will also need to demonstrate a thorough knowledge and mastery of the following:
- overall duties of Resident Engineer
- Project Management Experience.
- Project documentation and close-out requirements.
- Interaction with bridge contractors, consultants including negotiating change orders, plan changes, and claims.
- AutoCAD, P6, bridge design softwares and office package softwares, specially excel.
- Pre-stressed concrete girder construction, and erection techniques
- Post-tensioning systems including grouting requirements.
- Waterborne construction techniques.
- Material testing and sampling requirements applicable to major bridge and highway construction.
- QA/QC for structural design and drawing and construction.
- Quantity take-off and change orders procedures.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken.
- Specification Writing Knowledge
- Familiar with specifications relevant to Highways and Bridges.

4- Resident Engineer: Position. 2 Buildings and Major Construction-Sites
The individual is responsible for oversight of the design and construction to master planning, design, programming and schematic level planning for the series of sub-projects and master project (with project schedules and budgets). Candidate shall be responsible for all site activities, meetings, proposals, change order process, and reporting. Monitoring cost effectiveness and quality of work and document. Candidate shall be familiar with design development, construction document phases to complete project in timely manner, code compliance, review architectural documents, changes orders, and working with contractors and consultants and to other disciplines to ensure the project is being developed at optimum accuracy. The successful candidate is preferred to have experience for projects $ 15 million and above. Writing and reviewing specifications and codes.
Qualifications: B.Sc in Architectural Engineering, or Architecture or Civil Engineering (with relevant experience). And minimum of 10 years related experience in healthcare projects, colleges and technical institutes. Strong knowledge of codes, (HVAC, Networks; Drainage and sewage design..etc) systems requirements, estimating, cost control, contracts, project management.

- Fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken.
5- Senior Architect Engineer- 1 Position
Khartoum with frequent travelling.
The individual is responsible for oversight of the design and design process to master planning, design, programming and schematic level planning for the series of sub-projects and master projects (with project schedules and budgets). Candidate shall be responsible for all design activities, meetings, proposals, evaluations, order process, and reporting. Monitoring cost effectiveness and quality of materials and documents. Candidate shall be familiar with design development, construction document phases to complete project in timely manner, code compliance, review of architectural documents, changes orders, and shall has the ability to work with contractors and consultants and with other disciplines to ensure the project is being developed at optimum accuracy. The successful candidate is preferred to have experience in projects of $ 30 million and above. Writing and reviewing specifications and codes.

6- Senior Architect Engineer- 1 Position
Khartoum with frequent travelling.
BSc in Architecture. Preferred candidates possessing medical management or planning. Minimum 10 + years experience in Healthcare Planning; medical facilities operations, space planning, programming, sustainable energy solutions, master planning and building technology.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering designs.
- Strong analytical/modeling, financial/statistical analysis skills required.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, P6, MS Project, and MS Office software packages
- Knowledge of regulations and licensing requirements and permitting processes and requirements specific to a site preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills and excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken.
7- Estimating and Cost Control Engineer: 1 Position
Khartoum base with frequent travelling
Responsibilities:• Candidate shall have experience in estimating, scheduling and cost control. Shall be able to define deliverables, activities, and events related to the Engineering/Design, Procurement, and Construction.
• Develop, maintain, forecast, and control Engineering, Procurement, and Construction schedules and costs.
• Quantities take-off, review BOQ’s, verified and prepare payments certificate.
• Shall be able to establish cost estimating systems and cost control procedures.
Requirements:
• Minimum, BSc in Civil Engineering, construction management or related fields and a minimum of 7 - 10 years of Project Controls experience on industrial construction or projects over $ 20 Million cost. Experience in bridges, highways, and buildings construction activities is preferred.
• Proven experience in the developing, maintaining, forecasting, and controlling of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction schedules and costs.
• Must have experience with Primavera P6 Scheduling Software, detailed level planning, with cost loading and earned value features.
•Candidate should have a demonstrable experience with estimating, quantity take-off, value engineering and cost allocation.
• Candidate should be ambitious, self-starting, and possess leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Arabic, both verbally and written.
• Must have strong computer skills and with MS Office packages and most with excel and specialized costing and estimating software.
Requirements:•Minimum, BSc in Civil Engineering, construction management or related fields and a minimum of 7 - 10 years of contracts engineering experience on industrial construction or projects over $ 30 Million cost. Experience in bridges, highways, airports, and buildings construction activities is preferred.
8- Contract Engineer: 1 Position
Khartoum base with frequent traveling
Responsibilities:
Study the requirements of the Request for Proposal (RFP)/Invitation to Tender (ITT)/Pre-qualification (PQ) Tenders/Expression of Interest (EoI), etc, and submit an Executive Summary to the management including scope of works, constraints, commercial/legal risk factors, review points, relevant drawings, etc, for their review, and for bid or no-bid decision.
Shall also be responsible for progress report writing and contract proposals.
• Prepare clarification requests as required for RFPs/ITTs/PQs/EoIs.
• Prepare comprehensive RFPs in coordination with technical team.
• Respond to clarification requests from different parties.
• Prepare a fully compliant technical & commercial Tender/Proposal ensuring adherence to DIU policy and submit to the management for review and sign off.
• Ensure to meet the deadlines of all the tenders/proposals
• Review the proposals submitted to DIU and advise the management on their technical/financial suitability.
• Prepare/Review the Contractual Documents including Consultancy Agreements, Contractor’s Agreements, Non-Disclosure/Confidentiality Agreements, Work Orders, Reports, Tender Clarifications, and other Correspondence, as per DIU policy, prior to submission to relevant parties.
• Prepare Extension of Time Claims/Variation Claims, and follow up with relevant parties
• Coordinate with Planning Engineer on Internal Resources Planning and other relevant Contractual issues.
• Shall have demonstrated experience with all FIDIC forms.
9- QA/QC Engineer
Khartoum base
Implement and maintain Quality Assurance & Control systems on head-quarter and project sites; Ensure timely quality management, tracking and control at project sites and collate and analyze site quality reports to ensure high quality, world class project management services
